Little Rock Star

I have been commissioned to make this coloured portrait of a little boy for his birthday. It's completely done in pastels. It's been a real struggle to get this one done. Quite early in the process I've messed up my drawing by using the wrong kind of material and I had to start all over again. It took me a while to get over the first disappointment, but at a certain point I got my enthusiasm back and I finished it. So, here it is! All bright and smiling
